The Fine Print

The 3-pack includes a total of 6 lesson hours, while the 5-pack offers 10 lesson hours. Both packs can accommodate lessons that are 2 or 3 hours long. The single lesson option is specifically for a 2-hour session.

The prices shown are for the lessons only. They do not include the cost of fabric and notions. This price is paid upfront and you can schedule the lessons as you go.

Cancellation Policy

I need at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel a lesson. If you cancel within 24 hours, you won't get a refund, or it will use up one of your prepaid lessons if you have a lesson pack.

Lessons FAQ

  • Sewing lessons take place at my home studio in McKinney, TX

  • Nope! You don’t need any prior experience. In fact I love teaching beginners! If you do have prior experience, then taking private lessons is a great way to level up your skills.

  • I teach all students ages 9 and up.

  • I teach garment sewing and quilting. Together we can make anything from bed quilts, to tailored trousers and more!

  • I do not teach alterations except as it pertains to garment construction and pattern drafting as this is a different skill set.

  • Since the lesson packs already have a discount applied, no additional discount is added if you purchase a lesson pack up front for your first lesson.

  • The student discount is 10% off all in-stock fabric. This discount can be used when purchasing fabric in-person during your lesson and is not redeemable online.
